Hammond Girls Win Over Canton

The Hammond Red Devils win over the Canton Bears by the score of 63-48 in the Con Elliott tournament. The halftime score was 28-18. Hammond outscored Canton 16-8 in the first quarter and 20-11 in the 4th quarter. Four girls scored in double figures for Hammond. Aubrie Dunn led the Red Devils with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Nicole Davidson added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Brittany Kenyon had 14 points and 4 rebounds for Hammond. Cassie Cunningham had 10 points and 9 rebounds for the Red Devils. Heather Lottie led the Bears with 11 points. Brittany Martin added 9 points. Hammond will face Potsdam for the championship.
