Malone Girls Down OFA, 67-53

The Malone Huskies win over the Ogdensburg Blue Devils by the score of 67-53 to remain unbeaten in league play. The halftime score was 31-22. Malone jumped out to a 20-6 lead in the first quarter. OFA fought their way back into the game with a 16-11 run in the 2nd quarter. OFA stayed close throughout the second half, but could not overcome to huge first quarter deficit. Malone was just too strong inside. Haley Poupore led the Huskies with a season high 20 points. Alyson Johnson chipped in 16 points for Malone and Brittany Flick had 10 points. Jordyn LaRock led the Blue Devils with a season high 22 points and 3 rebounds. Sara LaFave added 13 points, 4 assists and 3 steals for OFA. Megan Morrison was held in check by the Malone defense posting 12 points, 5 points below her season average. With the win Malone, improves to 3-0 in league play. OFA drops to a league record of 1-1.
