2007 NYS Girls XC Championships

Emily Kriwox of Tupper Lake finishes in 13th place overall with a time of 20:29 in the Class D race.

The 2007 New York State Girls Cross Country Championships were held at the Norwood-Norfolk Central high school on Saturday. Emily Kriwox of Tupper Lake as a freshman had a 13th place finish with a time of 20:29 to record the best finish for Section 10 girls in the Class D race. Jessica Martindale of Brushton-Moira had a time of 21:21 for 33rd place finish overall in Class D. Sarah Marlowe of Malone finished in 76th place to lead the Section 10 Class B runners with a time of 21:11. Megan Morrison of OFA and Kaitlyn Coombs of Malone came in 96th and 97th place respectively with times of 21:46 and 21:49. Freshman Aimee Beaudette of Canton came in 30th place overall with a time 20:12 to lead all Section 10 racers in Class C. Emily Cotey of N-N had a 45th place finish overall on her home course with a time of 20:44.
