St. Lawrence Central Crowned Section 10 Champs In Swimming

The St. Lawrence Larries dominated the Championship 10 events by taking 7 out of 11 to claim the Section 10 Title with a total of 329 1/2 points. Emily Lynch won both the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Butterfly for the Larries. Anna Brothers capture first place in the 100 Breaststroke, Nicole Dufresne took first in the 500 Freestyle and Emily Norton won the 200 Individual Medley for St. Lawrence. The Larries also capture wins in the 200 Medley and the 200 Freestyle relays. Ogdensburg placed second with 196 1/2 points and Malone came in third with 160 points. Julie Haynes placed first in two events, the 50 and 100 Freestyle for the Huskies. Malone also won the 400 Freestyle Relay. Canton placed fourth with 153, Potsdam had 140 , Massena 119, Salmon River 68, Edwards Knox 58 and Gouverneur finish in last with 42. St Lawrence Larries remain undefeated 12-0.
