Indian River Edges Potsdam 22-16 in OT

The #1 Indian River Warriors win over the #3 Potsdam Sandstoners by the score of 22-16 in the Section 10/7 Class A championship game. On October 12th, Potsdam traveled to Indian River school and lost by the score of 62-14. The Sandstoners wanted to prove they were not the same team they were October 12th. In the championship game, Potsdam came out ready to play. Indian River scored first in the opening quarter to take a 8-0 lead. Potsdam tied it up in the second quarter to end the half with a score of 8-8. Again in the 3rd quarter IR took an 8 point lead only to see Potsdam tie it up in the 4th quarter. Tyler Brown led the Warriors with 179 yards rushing on 15 carries including the game-winning touchdown in overtime. Nathan Smith-Allen had 2 catches for 43 yard including 1 TD. Nick Howard led the Sandstoners with 107 yards rushing on 37 carries.
