Tupper Lake Upsets Salmon River in Class C

2007 Section 10 Class C Champions Tupper Lake

The #2 Tupper Lake Lumberjacks win over the #1 Salmon River Shamrocks by the score of 3-2 in the Section 10 Class C championship. The scores of the games were 25-22, 25-16, 22-25, 19-25, 25-21. Tupper Lake won the first 2 games. Salmon River fought back and won the next to games and had all the momentum going into the final game. Tupper Lake dug down deep in the final game pulled out the victory in a hard fought battle. Rochelle Baker led the Lumberjacks with 16 points, 5 kills, 6 aces and 33 assists. Whitney Tarbox added 13 kills and Jennifer Friend had 12 kills for Tupper Lake.
