#4 Salmon River Upsets #1 Potsdam

The #4 Salmon River Shamrocks win over the #1 Potsdam Sandstoners by the score of 1-1 (4-2) in a shootout. Salmon River scored the first goal of the game in the first half. Dan Gerow scored for Salmon River assisted by Wishe David. Patrick Mullen tied the game at 1-1 with just 11 minutes remaining in regulation. Cory Bercume and Joe Chiarenzelli each assisted on the goal. After 4 overtime periods the game remained tied at 1-1. In the shootout Salmon River outscored Potsdam 4-2 to advance to the finals. Salmon River will face #2 Canton on Friday @ SUNY Canton.
