Potsdam Girls Edge Salmon

The #1 Potsdam Sandstoners win over the #4 Salmon River Shamrocks by the score of 1-0 in the Section 10 Class B semifinals. The halftime score was 0-0. Alissa Tischler scored the lone goal of the game for the Sandstoners. Ginette Cornett had the assist on the play. Allison Smiddy had 19 saves in goal for Salmon River and Monique Cornett had to stop 6 shots to earn the shutout win. Potsdam will face the #3 seed Gouverneur Wildcats for the Class B Crown on Thursday at SUNY Canton.
