Chateaugay Blanks Malone, 3-0

The Chateaugay Bulldogs set out to prove that they are the best volleyball team in Section 10. Chateaugay and Malone are 1 and 2 in the standings. Chateaugay is undefeated and Malone has only lost 1 game all season (against Chateaugay). Malone was hoping to knock off the Bulldogs and tie them for first place in the division. Chateaugay was not looking to shared the division lead with anyone. They came out ready to play and put Malone away in 3 straight games. The scores of the games were 25-19, 25-23, 25-20. Stephanie Kemp led the Bulldogs with 13 points and 5 kills. Danielle Swanston added 8 points and 11 kills for Chateaugay. Annie Smith had 9 kills and Taylor Cassavaw had 18 assists for Chateaugay. Stephanie Edwards led the Huskies with 12 points, 3 kills and 8 assists.
