The Parishville -Hopkinton Panthers win over the Colton-Pierrepont Colts by the score of 2-0. The halftime score was 1-0. Bryant Wickwire and Mike Bicknell led the Panthers with 1 goal each. Justin Tyler had 1 assist for Parishville-Hopkinton. Abe Baxter had 11 saves for Parishville-Hopkinton in the shutout win.

The colts were denied a free kick inside the penalty area with just 45 seconds left in regulation when one of their players was taken out from behind and yet the Panthers had a 4 on 1 break away and were tripped up in the box and got a penalty shot with it with just 9 seconds left in regulation. That’s some pretty poor referring if you ask me, considering the Panthers were up 1-0 already like the PK was necessary.
The PK deal robbed the Colts and they played really well the whole game both teams hustled and really only the first goal of a corner defined who won the game!! It was a very equally matched game and both teams played great.
