Canton Advances in Class B State Tournament

The Section 10 Class B Canton Bears win over the Section 7 Beekmantown Eagles by the score of 8-2. Beekmantown struck first with 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. Canton scored 3 runs in the top of the 2nd inning and never looked back. Kacie Wentworth held Beekmantown in check with 10 strikeouts in the game. Canton will play Cohoes on Wednesday in Glens Falls.
