Crown Point Wins Over Edwards-Knox in State Playoffs

Miranda Typhair fires in a strike against Crown Points in the NYS Class D open round playoff game. The first in E-K school history.

The Section 7 Crown Point Lady Panthers win over the Section 10 Edwards-Knox Cougars by the score of 4-3. Miranda Typhair led the Cougars with 2 hits including a triple in the first inning. E-K scored 2 runs in the top of first inning and Crown Point scored 3 runs in the bottom of first. E-K tied the game at 3-3 in the top of the 4th inning only to see Crown Points score the game-winning run in the bottom of the 5th. This E-K team is the first team in school history to make it to the state playoffs.
