Salmon River Girls Win Over Ogdensburg

The #2 Salmon River Shamrocks win over the #3 Ogdensburg Blue Devils by the score of 7-5 in the Class B semifinals. Salmon River scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to break a 5-5 tie. Joelle Porter led the Shamrocks with 3 hits. Allison Smiddy added 2 hits including a triple. Mary Beth Davis led the Blue Devils with 3 hits. Krista Oakes had 7 strikeouts to earn the win for Salmon River. Salmon River win play #1 Canton for the Class B title on Friday at SUNY Canton.
