Canton Girls Advance to Class B Finals

The #1 Canton Bears win over the Gouverneur Wildcats by the score of 15-0 in the Section 10 Class B semifinals. Canton scored at least 1 run in every inning except the 6th including a 7 run 2nd inning. Kacie Wentworth led the Bears with 3 hits and 4 RBI. Brittani Bessette added 2 hits and 2 RBI. Taylor Jordan had 3 RBI on 1 hit. Kacie Wentworth also had 10 strikeouts on the mound to earn the win for Canton. Canton will play the winner of OFA and Salmon River on Friday for Class B championship.
