Heuvelton Upsets #1 Seed St. Lawrence

The Heuvelton Bulldogs win over the #1 seed St. Lawrence Larries by the score of 8-7 in the Section 10 Class B semifinals. SLC led at the half by the score of 5-2. Heuvelton scored 3 goals in the final 1:30 for the stunning victory. Zach Giglio led the Bulldogs with 3 goals and 2 assists. Francis Sharpe added 2 goals and 1 assist including the game-tying goal with 9 seconds left in the game. Andrew Ross had the game-winning goal seconds later for Heuvelton. Collin Benton led the Larries with 3 goals and 1 assist. Jack Keenan added 2 goals. Cody Kilcoyne had 1 goal and 2 assists for St. Lawrence. Heuvelton will play Massena on Friday at SUNY Canton for the Section 10 Class B title.
