Canton Girls Win Championship Game Over Edwards-Knox

The Canton Bears win over the Edwards-Knox Cougars in the championship game of the Big Green Classic Tournament by the score of 13-1. Kacie Wentworth, defensive MVP, struck out 11 batter, allowed just one run, produced a double and scored 2 runs to lead the Bears. Brittani Bessette added 2 hits and scored 3 runs, while Samantha Brown had a single and 3 RBI's for Canton. Miranda Typhair led the Cougars with 3 hits and was named offensive MVP for Edwards Knox.
