Massena Downs Chateaugay in 2nd Half

The Massena Red Raiders defeat the Chateaugay Bulldogs in the Section 10 overall semifinals by the score of 65-56. The halftime score was 28-27. Throughout the first half each team traded baskets back and forth. Midway through the 3rd quarter the Red Raiders started to pull away behind the sharp shooting of the Central division MVP Garrett Sharlow. Sharlow made 2 big 3 pointers in a row and lead the Red Raiders with 25 points and 13 rebounds. The whole Massena Red Raider team made some big shots down the stretch. Cody Clary had 16 points, 4 rebounds and Matt Perry posted 13 points and 6 rebounds for Massena. Brad Dumont led the Bulldogs with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Jordon Rankin had 13 points, 8 rebounds and Drew Boyea scored 12 points for Chateaugay. Massena will face Ogdensburg for the 3rd time this season in the Section 10 overall championship game.
