Malone on to Finals, Poupore Reaches 1000th

The Malone Huskies win over the Madrid-Waddington Yellowjackets by the score of 65-39 in the Section 10 overall semifinals. The halftime score was 29-20. Malone outscored M-W 17-7 in the first quarter and 21-9 in the 3rd quarter. Haley Poupore entered the game needing just 1 point to reach 1000 for her career. She scored it on the free throw line. Alyson Johnson led the Huskies with 17 points. Haley Poupore finished with 14 points. Ashley Marshall scored 10 points for Malone. Jennifer Curley led the Yellowjackets with 11 points. Abby Shoen had 10 points for M-W.
