Thousand Islands Captures Section X Division II Title

The Thousand Islands Vikings made the most of their 17 shots to defeat the defending Section 10 Champion Salmon River Shamrocks 3-1. Thousand Islands picked up 2 quick goals in the second period by Bill Closs and Lars Grater to take a 2-0 lead after two periods of play. The Vikings and Shamrocks picked up single goals in the third period, for the Vikings - Ben Barton and Ty Thompson for Salmon River. Viking goalie Jon Hall finished with 45 saves.
