Ogdensburg Girls Win 4th Straight Class B Title

The #1 seed Ogdensburg Blue Devils win over the #2 seed Potsdam Sandstoners by the score of 60-45 in Section 10 Class B finals. The halftime score was 25-19. Both teams struggled on the offensive end of the floor for the first 5 minutes. OFA built up a 13-4 lead on a 4 point play by Sara LaFave to start the 2nd quarter. Potsdam fought their back in the game with a 10-4 run and pulled to within a score of 17-14 with 3:05 remaining in the half. OFA came out strong in the 3rd quarter outscoring Potsdam 20-10 and put the game out of reach for the Sandstoners. The win marks the 4th straight Class B title for the lady Blue Devils. Megan Morrison led the Blue Devils with 22 points of which 15 of them were from the free throw line. Sara LaFave added 14 points and Jordyn LaRock knocked in 7 points for OFA. Linnea Johnson led the Sandstoners with 10 points. Caitlin Dullea and Kaila Maguire added 8 points each for Potsdam. OFA will face Hammond next Tuesday in the Section 10 overall semifinals.
