Madrid-Waddington Wins Class C Title

The Madrid-Waddington Yellowjackets win over the Brushton-Moira Panthers by the score of 54-37 in the Section 10 Class C Championship game. The halftime score was 28-17. Brushton-Moira outscored M-W 18-10 in the 3rd quarter to pull within 3 points. The Yellowjackets held B-M to just 2 points in the final quarter to come away with the victory. Jennifer Curley led the Yellowjackets with 19 points. Abby Shoen had 10 points and Kristen King scored 9 points for M-W. Whitney Sevey led the Panthers with 12 points. Candice Dufrane added 11 points for B-M. M-W will play Malone on Tuesday in the Section 10 overall semifinals.
