Massena Boys Win Class A Title

2008 Section 10 Class A Champion Massena Red Raiders

The Massena Red Raiders win over the Malone Huskies by the score of 72-63 in the Section 10 Class A title game. The halftime score was 29-25. The difference in the game was the 3rd quarter. Massena outscored Malone 24-12. Malone tried to make a comeback and pulled to within 4 points midway through the 4th after being down as many as 18 points late in the 3rd quarter, but Massena was just too strong. Garrett Sharlow led the Red Raiders with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Matt Perry had 15 points and 4 rebounds. Dustin Currier scored 13 points and Jon Schriver scored 11 and grabbed 10 rebounds for Massena. Ryan Lamica led all scorers for the Huskies with 19 points. Tyler Wescott had 18 points and 17 rebounds for Malone.
