Potsdam Edges Thousand Islands in OT

The Potsdam Sandstoners win over the Thousand Islands Vikings by the score of 3-2 in overtime. T.I. jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first period. Potsdam had tied it up 2-2 after 2 periods of play. There was no scoring in the 3rd period. Mike Ellis scored the game-winning goal for Potsdam 2:21 into the overtime period. Matt McDonald and Cory Bercume scored 1 goal each for Potsdam.
