The final Game of the Girls Class "D" Quarter Finals, held at Massena Central School Friday night was one of dominant fashion for the Chateaugay lady Bulldogs. They faced a much improved Morristown club who faced the lady Bulldogs last year in the quarter finals. The lady Bulldogs started the game in dominant fashion running the floor and using a great pick-and-roll offense to set a tempo in which the lady Green Rockets couldn't match. Chateaugay held Morristown to only one field goal and played excellent defense in route to a 21-2 first quarter lead. In the second quarter Morristown looked to get in to the game using a couple of a quick buckets but was answered by Chateaugay who took a 32-9 half-time lead. Chateaugay came out in the second half using great bench play to provide the team with the win. Chateaugay still used their great post play and quick offensive sets to allow them to roll to a 57-16 win. Katie Porter scored 7 points for Morristown. Danielle Swanston had 10 for the Bulldogs and Candace Fowler had the game high leading the Bulldogs with 16 points. The Chateaugay Bulldogs will face the Lady Bulldogs of Heuvelton Wednesday the February 20.
