The Salmon River Shamrocks win over the Potsdam Sandstoners by the score of 1-0 in the New York State girls hockey championship. The Potsdam Sandstoners held the powerful Shamrocks scoreless through 2 and half periods. League and tournament MVP Alley Bero scored the lone goal of the game midway through the 3rd period surrounded by 3 Potsdam defenders. Abby Tardelli of Potsdam stopped 23 of 24 shots on goal. Tameka Thompson of Salmon River stopped 9 shots for the shutout victory. Congratulations Lady Shamrocks!
