Barton game winner secures Viking win

Viking senior, Ben Barton, provided what turned out to be the game winning goal mid-way through the 3rd period in a hard contested Division 2 league game with the visiting Huskies of Malone. Huskies net-minder senior Chris Beebe provide many huge saves to keep the game close. The Vikings were led by the line of Bill Closs (2a), Trevor Parisian (1g) and Lars Grater (1g). The other Viking goal was picked up by Ryan Grimshaw. Malone was led by their top line of Ryan Brown (2g, 1a), Brad Fluery (1g, 2a) and Chad Fluery (1a). Beebe finished with 38 saves while Viking netminder Jon Hall had 22.
