The Gouverneur Wildcats traveled to Malone for their second match of the week. The Wildcats picked up the win by the score of 70-6. The cats had 10 pins out of the 12 matches they won. The pin streak started at 112lbs with Richard Jesmer, 119lbs Dylan Morrison, 125lbs David Sleeman, 130lbs Jesse McEathron, 135lbs Duane Roberts, 140lbs Zach Cummings. Then at 145lbs Gouverneur's Tyler Weaver Tech Falled his opponent but then Gouverneur had a team point taken away. Then the pin streak started up again when Cory Storie won at 152lbs, Dale Cronk 160lbs, Carson Gates 171lbs, Tim Fairbanks 189lbs. Gouverneur also scored 6 points from Carl Devito picking up the forfeit at 215lbs. The last match of the night was Malone's lone win from Cody James receiving the forfeit at 103lbs. Both Gouverneur (4-0) and Malone (1-3 wrestled at the NAC tournament in Ellenburg this Saturday where Gouverneur took 3rd with 208 points and Massena in 4th with 172 points.
