Liverpool Upsets Potsdam, 4-3

The Liverpool boys win over the Potsdam Sandstoners by the score of 4-3. Potsdam dominated the game but could not put the puck in the net. Liverpool built up a 4-1 lead to start the 3rd period with 3 unanswered goals in the 2nd period. Potsdam put everything they had out on the ice in the 3rd period. Nick Miller made it 4-2 on a 5 on 3 powerplay goal and then brought his team to with 1 goal later in the period. Liverpool withstood an onslaught of 32 shots on goal in the game to become the first team to defeat the #1 ranked NYS Division I Potsdam Sandstoners. Nick Miller led the Sandstoners and finished with 2 goals and 1 assists. Ryan Bercume had 1 goal and 2 assists for Potsdam. Cory Bercume assisted on all 3 goals.
