Malone Boys Win Over Potsdam, 50-48

The Malone Huskies win over the Potsdam Sandstoners by the score of 50-48. The halftime score was 24-23. This game was a game of runs. Potsdam jumped out to a 17-9 lead in the first quarter. Malone came right back in the 2nd quarter with a 15-6 run. The second half was similar to the 1st half. This time Malone started the half with a 14-5 run to earn a 10 point lead going into the final quarter. Potsdam fought their way back in the game but came up just short in the end. Potsdam outscored Malone 20-12 in the 4th quarter. Tyler Wescott led the Huskies with 20 points. Ryan Lamica added 11 points for Malone. Scott Reed led the Sandstoners with 16 points. Scott Bartenstein had 11 points and Jerry Coleman added 10 points for Potsdam.
