Viking Seniors' Contribute in Tupper Win

The Thousand Island Vikings found their offensive touch on a Saturday afternoon game in Lumberjack country. Seniors Lars Grater and Casey Calhoun contributed 3 goals each as the visiting Vikings score 7 unanswered goals in the second period to cruise to an 11-4 league win. Teammates Bill Closs (2 goals), Cory Kendall, Chris Hunt and Ben Barton (1 goal each) found the back of the net while Bobby Helms led the Lumberjacks with 2 goals and 2 assists. Viking goalies Jon Hall and Tyler Sorrell combined for just 15 saves while Tupper Lake's Kevin LaPierre and Breanna Strack combined for 35 shots on goal.
