Gouverneur Girls Earn First League Win

The Gouverneur Wildcats win over the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers by the score of 37-35. The halftime score was 16-15. Norwood-Norfolk had a 4 point lead to start the 4th quarter, but could not hold on. Gouverneur outscored N-N 13-7 in the final quarter. Lesley Turner led the Wildcats with 10 points. Krista McEathron added 8 points including the game-winning 3 point shot with 20 seconds remaining. Emily Cotey led the Flyers with game-high 12 points. Kara Holmes and Taylor Chudzinski added 7 points each for N-N.
